Introducting Dr. Zoidberg, our new bearded dragon

Let me introduce to you our new pet lizard. He is a bearded dragon and we have affectionately named him “Zoidberg”. He has a partner as well who belongs to Evelynn and Richard. They both live in a cage together and will for the next few months until they grow a bit more into size. Zoidberg is a male and will grow up to be a foot long or so and can live up to 18 years. It’s fun watching him go after the crickets, and I have to be honest, with how small he is right now I’m surprised he can fit 3 crickets in that tiny stomach of his! Anyways, Anna is quite happy to have a new pet. She is excited. Below is a picture of Zoidberg.

Trip to Downtown Manhattan

Ok, first of all I want to apologize to everyone for the tardiness of our picture updates! I made a trip to Downtown Manhattan about two weeks ago and took some pictures. I walked from Penn Station, not realizing it was almost a 2 hour walk to downtown Manhattan. I stopped at a McDonalds near the New York Stock Exchange and was very surprised that my #3 meal was priced at $8! I went hungry. Screw that!

Anna and I took the Long Island Metro into midtown Manhattan this afternoon. What an amazing experience! We first stopped by Penn Group and visited Evan and crew, then ate lunch at The Zipper Factory. Afterwards we took a scroll down to Times Square and had a look around. We had to peek inside the infamous Toys R Us as well. Anyways, too many pictures to upload one by one which means you are gonna have to view the entire gallery of 60 pictures. Favorite part of the trip was easily walking around the Toys R Us where they had a life sized T-Rex growing at you and swinging it’s head around. Love it.

Sorry everyone for the lack of updates during our critical moments of entering NY. Entsring the big city around 3pm, we were overcome with wreckless drivers and endless highways to navigate, so much that we didn’t even get any pictures. Hang tight though, we will be visiting Manhattan tomorrow and should have a ton of incredible pictures. For now here is a picture of our sleep number bed… In NY.
