  • iResize (PC)
    This amazing little free program will generate square thumbnails from portrait and landscape photos of any size you choose. Even better yet, you can batch process entire folders. iResize will crop the image, removing equal space from the top/bottom and left/right. The last update to this program came in 2006, but is still a quality piece of software even in 2009, and apparently the only of it's kind.

    Phun is a downloadable program that let's you draw a variety of objects and interact with them. Insanely addictive, perfect if you have some time to waste or if you feel creative.

    My Mini City is a genius idea. The idea is simple. A click through on a link builds your city. Simple. Of course, the idea has more depth if you wish to explore.

    ImgBurn is a piece of free software (spyware and adware free) that will burn your ISO file with ease. Simple and to the point, ImgBurn is the best ISO to CD/DVD tool out.

    DDP Multimedia is that perfect little free application to download and save MMS streams.

  • Online Mii Creation Tool
    This flash application is a replication of the Nintendo Wii Mii creator. You can create your own Mii. While it's not an exact replication of what is on the Wii, it is still very handy. There is no method though of saving your Mii. You'll have to use the print-screen function and crop your image. Still very effective though.

  • Tale of Pirates
    Tale of Pirates is a new MMORPG. Still in the beta stage it looks very promising and puts a whole new spin on the MMORPG style of games. While it is free, it is aimed towards a younger audience. But hey, free is free!

  • FLV Extract to MP3
    This little awesome piece of software allows you to extract the audio from any FLV video and convert it to MP3. This means that you can take any video from sites like youtube, metacafe, myspace videos and convert ANY of the videos to MP3. Off course, to snag videos from those sites I recommend you download the VideoDownloader extension for the Firefox Browser.

    K10k provides a HUGE list of user submitted pixel tiling backgrounds. This collection is the most amazing set of tiling backgrounds I have found on the internet. Hands down.

  • Name Boy Domain Generator
    Name Boy is a domain name generator. You simply put in two key words and it brings up a list of domain names crossbreeding your two keywords along with which TLD they are available on. It helped my brother decide on the domain name easyantic.com. It also procured some great domain names such as uniboring.com, which is available as of this date! :D

  • Cyber Nations
    Cyber Nations is a website that allows you to create a nation and built it to your liking. Features include buying into infrastructure, technology, nuclear weapons, going to war with other nations and joining alliances. This whole setup is strangely addicting. Give it a go.

  • Adgridwork
    Adgridwork is a new banner exchange program, except this is a bit different then the normal banner exchange. The program works very similair to Googles adsense in the fact that you write you own little ad to display on other websites. The catch, of course, is you display a banner ad based upon keyword matches on yoursite as well. Tired of the same ol' banner exchange? Give this a try!

  • Create and watch a dancing character
    This website allows you to draw a simple character then once you are finished get to watch it be magically transformed into a dancing man/woman. Probably the most amazing implementation of flash I've ever seen. The music is very hypnotic as well.

It allows you to capture anything on the screen including windows, objects, full screen, rectangle regions, freehand-selected regions and scrolling windows/web pages. It has innovative features such as a floating Capture Panel, hotkeys, resizing, cropping, text annotation, printing, e-mailing, screen magnifier and many more. When not in use it just uses a mere 400k of memory.

  • Skitch 4Secs
    How fast can you sketch with your mouse? Better yet, how fast AND accurate can you sketch with your mouse? This little game gives you basic shapes to recreate in 4 seconds. If your drawing is close to the original you move to the next object. Very addicting!

  • Google Firefox Browser Sync
    This tool from Google allows you to sync your cookies, history, saved forms/password, last tabs open and some more in Firefox! Great if you use Firefox on different PC's or switch between Windwos Xp and another Operating system. Just install on any instance of Firefox that you run and prepare to be synced!
