Babelgum - Review of the Beta release

About a month ago I applied to be a beta tester for the new software called Babelgum. Babelgum ushers in a new era for television, blending the lean-back experience of traditional TV with the interactive and social power of the Internet all packaged into a piece of software for your PC. Yes, very much like the anticipated software Joost from the makers of Skype. This is a completely new idea so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. Well, having dallied around in Babelgum for a few days I have compiled my thoughts with some screen shots.
